2JZGTE/GE VVT-i CAMSHAFTS
The Lexus IS300 is a rear-wheel drive, compact luxury sports sedan manufactured by the Toyota Motor Corp. under the Lexus brand and originally sold as the Toyota Altezza in Japan. The model was introduced to slot below the ES in the Lexus lineup and to compete against the BMW 3 Series and the Nissan Skyline/Infiniti G. The first-generation Altezza (codename XE10) was launched in Japan in October 1998, while the Lexus IS200 made its debut in Europe in 1999 and the IS300 in North America in 2001. The "IS" stands for "Intelligent Sport. The 2JZ-GE powered IS series engine, although not as popular as it's turbocharged (2JZ-GTE) brother, is a 3.0 liter inline six cylinder, mounted longitudinally and, unlike the 2JZ-GTE, features Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) on the intake camshaft which provides both improved low-end torque and high rpm horsepower. 2JZGTE/GE VVT-i ADJUSTABLE CAM GEAR
BC adjustable cam gears deliver the easiest way to dial in more horsepower and/or torque without getting underneath the valve cover, disassembling the engine or dealing with onboard electronics. BC gears are CNC machined from aerospace grade, 6061-T6 billet aluminum for ultimate tensile strength. Easy to read, laser etched face features micrometer style markings for precise adjustment (up to 10 degrees in each direction) and quick tunability. Each hub is held down by six ARP 12pt stainless steel bolts for maximum clamping ability. Hard anodized finish prevents premature surface wear. |

CAM GEAR CLAMPING BOLTS
BC cam gear clamping bolts are a direct replacement for any existing BC 2JZ/1JZ cam gear and are made from ARP2000 material and feature a polished finish to eliminate corrosion and rust from handling and moisture. Hardened to RC 45-47, the BC clamping bolts feature a 12pt head for unlimited adjustment without stripping like the Allen style fastener that's commonly used. |

CAM GEAR FASTENER w/ WASHER
BC cam bolts for the 2JZ and 1JZ engine platforms are made from ARP2000 material and feature a silver CAD plated finish to eliminate corrosion from handling. Hardened to RC 45-47, and includes plated washer (.200" thick) , the new BC cam bolts secure the cam gears permanently without the stretch common with OEM fasteners. Reduces the risk of the gear coming loose and causing severe engine damage. Works with all brands of camshafts and cam gears. The BC bolt features 0.900" under head length with OEM thread pitch. Bolts not sold separately from washer, sold as one complete unit, order two if using two gears, one if VVTi. |
