2.5L - L5-VE The MZR series (MaZda Responsive) and Ford Duratec are world platform engines and range in displacement from 2.0L, 2.3L and 2.5L. The 2.0L L-engine (MZR LF-VE) is popular in the Mazda MX-5 (NC) Miata chassis from 2005 to 2015 and features 10:1 compression ratio, 87.5mm bore and 83.1mm stroke. This engine is also in the Ford Focus with the 2.0L and 2.3L Duratec. The 2.5L features 89mm bore and 100mm stroke with 9.7:1 compression ratio. Fits 6 tooth reluctor applications.
